Acura Keyless Entry Remotes with Seat Memory

Acura is arguably one of the leading users of seat memory on its vehicles. Its CL and MDX vehicles have used seat memory since those models were introduced in 2000, and RL and TL sedans began using seat memory shortly thereafter.

Acura vehicles with seat memory come with two keyfobs (or switchblade or proximity remote transmitters), each of which has a fob number on the back. The two remote transmitters are identical other than the fob number on the case. The numbers are simply a convenience to help the drivers distinguish the two fobs.
