Chrysler Concorde and Dodge Intrepid Keyless Entry Remotes

Keyless entry systems were available on all Chrysler Concorde and Dodge Intrepid as optional or standard equipment from the early 1990s until production of these models ceased in 2004. Four different keyless entry remotes were used during this period. They had FCC IDs GQ43VT5T, GQ43VT7T, GQ43VT9T and GQ43VT17T.

One must be a little careful buying a replacement car remote for these vehicles because some of the keyfobs look identical but are not interchangeable. We have received calls from customers who bought a keyless entry remote on one of the large web stores that looked like their original remote but turned out to be the wrong keyfob for their model year.

Remotes Unlimited recommends that, whenever you buy a replacement remote, you search by an identifying number on your original remote (such as the FCC ID number or the manufacturer’s part number). That is the best way to ensure that you are buying the correct part.

If you no longer have your original remote, then you will have to search according to your vehicle make, model and year if you have a factory keyless entry system and by the brand and model of your alarm system if you have an aftermarket alarm system. Many web sellers do not really know the vehicle and alarm system applications for the parts they sell, so be sure you are purchasing from a reputable web seller.
