Remotes Unlimited provides customers 5 ways to search for a replacement automotive remote control — (1) by the make/model/year of the vehicle, (2) by the vehicle ID number, (3) by the remote manufacturer’s part number, (4) by the FCC ID on a remote, and (5) by the brand/model of an aftermarket alarm system.

Some people ask us why they are not given the option of shopping by image. The reason for this is that there are several situations where remotes look identical but are not interchangeable. An image of a remote is a good way of confirming that the remote you specified via one of the other 5 methods matches your original remote, but it is not a reliable way to search when you are buying a car remote.
