Ford Proximity (“Smart Key”) Keyless Entry Remote Controls

Someone asked why Ford has not introduced proximity remote controls and push-button start on its vehicles. The answer is that Ford has started offering proximity remotes and push-button start in limited cases. 2011-12 Ford Explorers had an optional package that included proximity remotes and all 2011-12 Lincoln MKX vehicles also used a proximity remote.
