Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep Remotes with FCC ID GQ43VT9T

Chrysler used keyless entry remotes with FCC ID GQ43VT9T on a wide variety of Chrylser, Dodge and Jeep vehicles. Be careful when buying a replacement car remote with this FCC ID because these keyfobs are not all interchangeable.

For example, 1999-2004 Jeep Cherokee and Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles with seat memory used an interesting pair of keyless remotes with FCC ID GQ43VT9T. The OE part numbers are 56036859AB-AE (currently 56036859AE) and 56036860AB-AE (currently 56036860AE). The parts do not say “Fob 1” and “Fob 2” or “Driver 1” and “Driver 2” on the cases as most seat memory keyless remotes do. Instead, the keyfob for driver 1 has a black case and the keyfob for driver 2 has a grey case. Also unlike most seat memory fob pairs, these remotes transmit different signals to the vehicle to distinguish seat memory position 1 from seat memory position 2.

Furthermore, these keyless entry remotes are not interchangeable with the many other Chrysler OE parts that have an FCC ID of GQ43VT9T
