View CartWe recently received an inquiry from a consumer who bought a Mazda remote on eBay and was having difficulty making it work with his vehicle. He identified the part only as having FCC ID BGBX1T478SKE12501. Well, we know of 6 different Mazda parts that shared this FCC ID number, including one used on the MX5 Miata that has since been discontinued. Some of these keyless entry remotes are compatible, but not all. We suggest you search by the Mazda part number when buying a replacement remote for a transmitter in this family.
By the way, as you may have guessed, this is one of the longest FCC ID numbers we know of and I, for one, could never type it into a search box correctly the first time. Another reason to use a different search method.
