Many Ford and Toyota replacement keyless entry remotes – including those with FCC IDs such as GQ43VT11T, GQ43VT14T, GQ43VT20T, HYQ12BBX and HYQ12BAN – require steps that involve cycling the key between the ON and OFF positions quickly. The two most common problems people have with this step are that they do not complete the process quickly enough and that they turn the key all the way to start the engine (which is one position past “ON”).
