Proximity Keyless Entry Remote “Smart-Key” Used on 2004 Lexus LS430

A reader asked about a replacement keyless entry remote for a 2004 Lexus LS430. She had a proximity remote for the LS430 with push-button start. This particular application uses Lexus part number 89994-50240 or 89994-50241. It is a 3-button keyfob with lock and panic both operated by the first button, unlock on the second button, and trunk release operated by the third button. The FCC ID on the back is HYQ12BZE.
