View CartA blog reader emailed us to ask if Remotes Unlimited part 610-1610, featured in yesterday’s blog post (link here), is the same 3-button keyless entry remote used on his 2003 Olds Bravada. The answer is yes. This GM keyfob with FCC ID MYT3X6898B was used on 2002-2004 Olds Bravada and 2004-2007 Buick Rainier in addition to 2002-2009 Chevy Trailblazer and GMC Envoy.
Note that some vehicles may have had a seat memory option. In that case, the original remotes had a “Fob 1” or “Fob 2” designation embossed on the back of the remote. The circuit boards inside the seat memory fobs are identical. The different case identification is purely an aid to help owners tell which fob is which in case the driver’s seat is set to two different positions through the seat memory feature. Our replacement remote, Remotes Unlimited part 610-1610, will work for either original seat memory keyfob.
