Replacement Keyless Entry Remote Key Fobs for 2004-2006 Honda Element Vehicles

Did you know that for many years from 1995 through 2008 Honda used both factory-installed and dealer-installed keyless entry systems? In some cases, the key fobs used with each system were nearly identical. This is the case for the two 3-button keyless entry remotes used on 2004, 2005 and 2006 Honda Element vehicles.

The factory-installed system uses a Honda part 72147-S5T-A01 (RUI part 464-1464), which has FCC ID OUCG8D-344H-A. The dealer installed system uses Honda part 08E61-S5D-1M001/1M002 (RUI part 620-1620) with an FCC ID beginning with NHV). As you can see from the following links, the two parts are virtually identical from the front.
