Replacement Nissan Sentra Keyless Entry Remote Transmitters

We received an inquiry about 2010 Nissan Sentra remotes. 2010 Sentras equipped with factory keyless entry systems used one of two different remote transmitters. If the vehicle has an ignition that uses a key to start the car, the correct replacement remote is a 4-button keyfob-style remote control. This remote had different FCC ID numbers at different times in its history, but the most common is KBRASTU15 or an FCC ID beginning with CWTWB1U…

Vehicles that had a push-button start ignition system use a proximity (“Smart Key”) remote transmitter, also with 4 buttons. This remote has a slot for sliding in the back-up key.

The keyfob remote is user programmable, but the proximity remote requires dealership programming.
