Replacement Remote Key Fobs for Toyota Sienna Vans

Toyota Sienna is one of the longest-running and best-selling van models on the market. Like most vans, there are a variety of keyfobs that work with the vehicle, depending on the number of power-operated doors on the vehicle. The highest-spec Siennas use remote transmitters with 6 buttons – lock, unlock, dual power sliding doors, power lift gate and panic. (Toyota has not embraced the remote start option as many domestic makes have, so there is no 7-button keyfob.)

Six-button remotes for Toyota Sienna vans were initiated in 2004 when Toyota began using the family of remotes with FCC ID GQ43VT20T.

Toyota continued to use this family of remotes on Sienna through the present. With the 2013 model year, Toyota added push-button start to its list of options. To accommodate that feature, Sienna started also using proximity remotes (aka “Smart Keys”) with FCC ID HYQ14ADR.

The remotes with FCC ID GQ43VT20T for Siennas with a keyed ignition are user programmable. However, the proximity remotes require a scan tool for programming.
