Replacement Remote Keyfob for Toyota 4Runner and Sequoia Factory Keyless Entry Systems

A site visitor asked about a replacement remote for her 2005 Toyota 4Runner. Her original remote has FCC ID HYQ12BBX on the back. The correct replacement keyfob is a 4-button remote with lock, unlock and rear window roll-down buttons on the front and a panic button on the back.

This remote had other FCC IDs at different times, including HYQ12BAN. Also, there are numerous Toyota part numbers that are equivalent for this keyfob. All Toyota keyless entry systems that use this remote are user programmable.
