Replacing Remote with FCC ID A269ZUA074 for Honda or Acura Dealer-Installed Security System

Acura dealers offered an add-on security system for 1994, 1995 and 1996 Integra vehicles that used a remote key fob with FCC ID A269ZUA074. See Acura remote at this link.

Honda dealers offered the same system as a dealer-installed option on 1994 and 1995 Accord, Civic, Del Sol, Odyssey and Prelude vehicles. The Honda system remote has the same FCC ID, A269ZUA074, on the back of the case. See Honda key fob at this link.

The two 3-button remotes are functionally identical; they only differ by the Acura or Honda logo on the front of the case and a couple of markings on the back. These remotes were made for Honda Corporation by Alpine. The key fobs have not been manufactured for many years and are no longer available through any channel we know of; however, Remotes Unlimited does sell a replacement key fob that will work with these Honda and Acura dealer-installed security systems. See RUI part 113-2669.

The replacement remote is user programmable. Instructions are provided.
