Cadillac Forum Question — 2009 CTS Remote Transmitters

I recently saw a question on a Cadillac car owner’s forum asking about seat memory fobs with remote start on a 2009 Cadillac CTS.  This vehicle used several different remote transmitters. The seat memory parts with remote start are:
Fob 1 — GM part numbers 25943676 / 25854935 / 15780256
Fob 2 — GM part numbers 25943677 / 25854936 / 15780253

These remotes are proximity (“Smart Key”) transmitters for vehicles with the Passive Entry and Keyless Start functions. They were used on CTS vehicles from 2008 to the present.

Note: Cadillac proximity transmitters are often sold without a blank key blade.  The current GM list price for the transmitter alone is $187.72.
