Programming of 1995-2000 Chrysler Sebring Keyless Entry System Remotes

Chrysler has always had the attitude of making it difficult for their customers to replace a remote control. They were early in the game of requiring a scan tool for programming (to protect dealers’ service revenue and stick it to their customers). An early example of “just-plain-confusing” programming is 1995-2000 Chrysler Sebring vehicles. Programming for these vehicles depends on the body style. Coupes and sedans during this period are user programmable. Convertibles, however, require a scan tool for programming.
