View CartFor the 1996-2001 model years, Nissan Altima keyless entry systems used one of two remotes with FCC ID KOBUTA3T on the back of the remote.
Remotes Unlimited part 524-1524 is a 3-button remote with a large lock button on top and smaller unlock and trunk buttons below. There is also a little horn icon on the lock button. This remote was used on Altima from 1999 through 2001. This keyfob has been discontinued by Nissan but Remotes Unlimited still has some available at more than $23 below the dealer list price.
Remotes Unlimited part 525-1525 is also a 3-button remote with the same shape and button positions. However, this remote has a button with a large red/orange horn icon instead of a trunk icon. Also, there is no little horn icon on the lock button of this keyfob. This remote was used on Altima sedans from 1996-2000.

Please note the overlap in model years. For 1999 and 2000 Altima vehicles, either part may have been used. You should buy the replacement remote that matches your original part or contact your Nissan dealer, ask for the correct Nissan part number for your Altima based on its VIN, and then search our website by that OE part number.
