This keyless entry remote was later superseded with a different style of keyfob that had FCC ID KBRASTU15. Remotes Unlimited has the replacement keyless entry remote on sale at a deep discount to the dealer list price of $115.97.
While the KBRASTU10 remote used on the 2001 Frontier and Xterra is interchangeable with the 3-button KBRASTU15 remote, this is not true for all KBRASTU10 remotes that were used on other Nissan and Infiniti vehicles, so it is important to buy your replacement remote from a source you trust.

The original remote transmitter used on 2001 Nissan Xterra (our part 501-1501) has been discontinued by Nissan and replaced by a new keyfob. The new remote has a different case shape but the same electronics as the old remote. It is our part 503-1503 with a retail price of $60.00. (The Nissan dealer list on both parts is over $100.) Yes, there are replacements for the KBRASTU10 Model/01A transmitter. They look different but transmit the same signal. We offer two options — parts 739-1739 and 098-7413.
