Internet Orders

Timeliness: All Internet orders receive prompt attention. RUI maintains an inventory for nearly all parts we sell, so most orders can be shipped the same day (if received by early afternoon Central time) or the following day. RUI requests an email address so that we can contact you if there are any questions about your order and to notify you when an order has been shipped.

Payment Options:  All retail orders must be prepaid.  For website orders, RUI accepts payment via PayPal, debit card and credit cards from American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa.  For phone orders, RUI will accept debit/credit cards and also payment by check or money order.  Please note that orders paid by check or money order will not be shipped until funds have been collected.

Pending Transaction “Hold” on Funds:  Please be advised that some debit and credit card transactions result in a “hold” being placed on funds in your account while the transaction is pending.  Remotes Unlimited does not have control over whether or not funds are held, nor do we have any control over releasing held funds.  If you have a question about funds being held in your account for a pending transaction, please contact your bank or credit card issuer.

Prepayment: All retail orders must be prepaid. RUI accepts PayPal, American Express, Mastercard, Visa and Discover cards for Internet sales. (If a customer wishes to pay with a check or money order, RUI can accommodate this, but only if the order is placed by phone - call 877-719-1900. Orders paid by check or money order will not be shipped until funds have been collected.)

Order Cancellation: Orders may be cancelled only by calling RUI customer service at 281-820-0300, ext 0, and only if the order has not already been shipped. Once an order is shipped, return policies will apply.

Sales Tax: At present, RUI is only required to collect sales tax if a customer's shipping address is in Texas. All non-Texas orders will be tax free. This policy is subject to change if RUI is required to do so due to tax laws changes.
