Customer Privacy:  Remotes Unlimited considers privacy a fundamental right of our customers and takes seriously the obligation to safeguard client information.  RUI captures and maintains information about customers and orders only to enable us to provide the best product offerings and customer service possible. When we believe information capture or management may pose a risk for the customer,  RUI endeavors to err on the side of maintaining customer security.  So, for instance, we do not store credit card information when a purchase is made on our website. And we strive to use current best practices with respect to securing all order information while it is being transmitted or stored on RUI servers.

Handling of Personal Information:  RUI will make every effort to safeguard a customer's Personally Identifiable Information (PII). We will not sell, disclose or trade a customer's PII to any external marketing entity.  Such information will only be seen by RUI employees and affiliates and only for the purposes of conducting business with the customer - such as processing customer transactions, providing customer service or otherwise communicating with customers about business matters between them and RUI - or for internal business and accounting purposes - such as auditing RUI's financial results.  Unless a customer specifically requests to receive future marketing information - such as notices of sales and new products - RUI will not send unsolicited marketing information to our retail customers.

Google Analytics:  This website uses Google Analytics to help analyze how users use the site.  The tool uses "cookies," which are text files placed on a visitor's computer, to collect standard Internet log information and visitor behavior information in an anonymous form.  The information generated by the cookie about use of our website (including IP address) is transmitted to Google.  This information is then used to evaluate use of RUI's website by visitors as a whole and to compile statistical reports on overall website activity.

RUI will never use the statistical analytics tool to track or to collect any of visitors to our site.  Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.  Neither we nor Google will link, or seek to link, an IP address with the identity of a computer user.  A customer's PII will be used in conjunction with information about a visit to RUI's website only if the customer specifically enters PII via a fill-in form and then will only be used for purposes of processing an order or providing customer service.
