Returns

Warranty Claims: Non-working parts returned as a warranty claim will be replaced or a full refund issued, at RUI's option. Please read information and return shipping instructions under the Warranty section of this website.

Incorrect Parts: If a customer receives an incorrect part for their system, RUI will gladly exchange the part for the correct part under the following conditions:

• The part is returned within 30 days of purchase.
• The part is returned unused and in working condition.

For all exchanges of incorrect parts, RUI will pay the cost of shipping the new part to the customer.

If the new part costs less than the returned part, RUI will refund the difference in the purchase price. If the new part costs more than the returned part, customer may choose to receive the correct part and pay the difference in purchase price or to be issued a full refund for the original purchase. If RUI cannot source the correct part for the customer, we will issue a complete refund of the purchase price.

If the incorrect part was ordered through RUI's call center with our CSR providing the part specification, RUI will also refund the customer $7.00 to pay the cost of return postage. In all cases, it remains the customer's responsibility to pack and ship the part back to RUI so that it arrives undamaged.

Other Returns: Customers wishing to return a part for any reason other than a warranty claim or receipt of an incorrect part may do so under the following conditions:

• The part is returned within 30 days of purchase.
• The part is returned unused and in working condition.
• The customer agrees to pay a $10 restocking charge.

Return Process: In order to return a part other than for a warranty claim, customer must call RUI's customer service line - 281-820-0300, ext 3 - to explain the reason for the return. The customer service representative will give customer a "Return Authorization" number. The date of this call will determine dating for purposes of meeting the 30-day return period.

Customer should then send the returned part, with correspondence providing the Return Authorization number and complete contact information (including a phone number or email address) to RUI at:

• Important Note: RUI will not issue an exchange or refund if it does not receive the returned part undamaged; thus, we strongly urge customers to return merchandise with tracking, insurance and delivery confirmation.
