RUI attempts to maintain an appropriate balance between providing customers a wide range of delivery options to suit their preferences and maintaining efficient internal operations, all the while trying to control the high cost of shipping. Consequently, we maintain relationships with all of the major mail and parcel delivery companies and will at any point in time offer the shipping options that we believe make the most sense for our customers.

Best Efforts: In an effort to provide service to customers wherever they happen to reside, RUI will make every attempt to facilitate delivery to addresses outside North America. However, shipping options and laws vary widely around the globe. RUI makes no guarantees with respect to delivery times on any shipment or with respect to customs charges or delays, importation fees or local taxes that may apply to orders delivered outside the United States.
Order delivery can be affected by numerous circumstances, many of which are beyond RUI's control. Postal and shipping logistics are sometimes subject to interruptions due to weather, local holidays, theft, political events and other hard-to-know, hard-to-control circumstances. While RUI endeavors to stay abreast of such vagaries, we cannot ensure that orders are delivered as promptly as expected. Customers can help us achieve a high level of delivery satisfaction by themselves being aware of shipping issues and choosing carrier and service level options that are most likely to successfully serve their specific location and needs. Customers can also assist by supplying contact information as requested so that RUI can notify the customer if we learn of any problem with respect to a shipment, address or other delivery issue after the order has been placed.
In particular, customers should be aware of the following:
Delivery Address Limitations: Not all carriers will deliver to all addresses. For example, Federal Express and UPS cannot deliver to PO box addresses. Also, carrier policies differ with respect to whether or not delivery to a certain address requires a receiver signature.
Service Level Limitations: Many service level options - such as Priority Mail, next-day AM delivery, and so forth - are unavailable in certain areas.
Customer Responsibility: When placing an order, the customer is responsible for providing a shipping address that is acceptable given the carrier and service level selected. In order to make a claim that the product was damaged during shipment, customer must inspect condition of product upon receipt and, if damaged, should notify carrier and RUI immediately of the situation and preserve the package materials.
RUI Shipping Practices: All orders will be shipped via a method that accommodates order tracking and delivery confirmation. All orders will be insured against loss or damage in transit. (Claims for such may be made by calling RUI at 281-820-0300, ext 0.) Orders will be shipped Monday through Friday, except for holidays, then orders will be shipped next available business day. Any orders received after 2:00pm Central Time, will be shipped the following business day.
