View CartA reader who saw yesterday’s blog entitled “Replacing Common Subaru Keyless Entry Remote with FCC ID A269ZUA111” said that she thought her remote was a “common Subaru remote”, and that it has two buttons on it as well. Her vehicle is a 2007 Subaru Forester. She is correct, her remote is also common, though not as widely used as the older remote with FCC ID A269ZUA111. The 2-button remote she has, made by Tohoku Alps, with FCC ID NHVWB1U711 and Subaru part number 88036-FE040/41, is the correct remote for that vehicle and for all Forester vehicles from 2004 through 2008. This part was also used on Impreza beginning with vehicles assembled from March 2004 through the 2007 model year.
