2006 Hyundai Accent Keyless Entry Remote Key Fob with FCC ID PLNHM-T002

A reader of yesterday’s blog on 2004-06 Hyundai Elantra and Santa Fe remotes (click here) asked what the correct replacement remote key fob is for a 2006 Hyundai Accent. For nearly all of 2006, Hyundai used a 3-button remote with FCC ID PLNHM-T002 and Hyundai part number 95430-1E000.

This remote was used on Accent vehicles from the beginning of the 2006 model year all the way through vehicles with a production date of September 3, 2006. Hyundai Accent cars assembled after that date use Hyundai part 95430-1E011 (later superseded by 95430-1E012). As with nearly all Hyundai keyfob remotes, these applications require dealership programming.
