A dealer told him he needed the keyfob with Nissan part number 285E3-1AA5A. RUI shipped him a remote with Nissan part number 285E3-1AA7A and he thought this might be a different remote.
As it turns out, Nissan, like many other vehicle manufacturers, often changes their part numbers to indicate an engineering revision or other production run difference. Nissan parts 285E3-1AA0A, 285E3-1AA5A and 285E3-1AA7A (RUI part 085-6084) are all interchangeable and visually identical remote transmitters.
