View CartAudiovox is another aftermarket alarm system manufacturer who has survived the shake-out of the past decade. In addition to its AA Series brand, Audiovox markets alarm system brands such as Prestige, Pursuit and Karr. And, a few years back, they purchased Code Alarm, which had been one of the major manufacturers of dealer-installed alarm systems for the automobile manufacturers.
With all of these brands and hundreds of different models, Audiovox and Code Alarm systems have used scores of different remote transmitters. Most of these are conventional keyfob transmitters, but some are two-way systems with LCD transceivers. Dozens of the original remotes have been discontinued. However, Audiovox has been fairly responsible about maintaining compatibility, so most of the older remotes have a newer-style replacement keyfob available.
