Clarification about 2005 Infiniti FX35 and FX45 Keyless Entry Remotes

A clarification to my last post (entitled “Replacement Factory Keyless Entry Remote Keyfobs for 2003-2005 Infiniti FX35 and FX45 SUVs“). I have been reminded that Infiniti FX35 and FX45 SUVs also offered vehicles with push-button start from the beginning of their production in 2003. Vehicles with push-button ignitions use a proximity “Smart Key” remote transmitter. I do not have an image of the proximity remote used on the 2003 and 2004 model years of FX35 and FX45 SUVs, but the transmitter used on the 2005 model year, with FCC ID CWTWBU619, is shown below.

Please note that Infiniti vehicles with push-button ignition using the proximity remote are not user programmable.
