GM Keyless Entry Remote with FCC ID MYT3X6898B Used on 2002-2009 Chevy Trailblazer

From the 2002 through 2009 model years, Chevy Trailblazer SUVs equipped with a factory keyless entry system that used remotes with FCC ID MYT3X6898B on the back. Both 3-button and 4-button remotes were used. Also, some GM vehicles that used this keyfob were equipped with optional seat memory systems. So, there are actually three different 3-button keyfobs, one with no seat memory fob number on the back, one with fob #1 on the back, and one with fob #2 on the back.

The case markings on the back do not affect the function of the remote. Inside, all of these remotes are exactly the same. The fob numbers are just for your convenience in telling two sets of keys apart in case there are two seat positions set in seat memory. If seat positions are set and you have more than one keyfob programmed to work with the vehicle, then the first remote will be linked to one seat position and the second to the other seat position. This will be true even if both remotes have the same fob number or no fob number on the back.

These remotes are user programmable for all GM applications. Note, however, that the same keyfob was used on some Isuzu vehicles and those vehicles require a scan tool for programming.
