Honda Replacement Key and Remote for Accord and Other Vehicles Using a Keyhead Remote with FCC ID OUCG8D-380H-A

Several Honda vehicles have keyless entry systems that use a keyhead remote with FCC ID OUCG8D-380H-A. There are three different parts with this FCC ID, so if you are buying a replacement key and remote, it is important to be sure you buy the correct part. There was only one part with FCC ID OUCG8D-380H-A and 3 buttons. It was used on Honda Odyssey and Ridgeline vehicles. However, there were two vehicles that used parts with 4 buttons. Those two parts are nearly identical. The way to tell them apart is by a letter stamped on the key blade. The 4-button keyhead remote with FCC ID OUCG8D-380H-A and a “V” stamped on the key blade was used only on Honda Accord sedans. The 4-button keyhead remote with FCC ID OUCG8D-380H-A and a “FP” stamped on the key blade was used only on Honda CR-V and Fit vehicles.

See a link to purchase any of the three Honda keyhead remotes with FCC ID OUCG8D-380H-A on the Remotes Unlimited website.

There is another thing that trips up some people. Some of these vehicles used a keyhead remote with FCC ID OUCG8D-380H-A one year and then switched to a nearly identical part with a different FCC ID the next. So be sure to check and make sure you have as much information as possible when you buy a replacement remote.
