Lexus Keyfob Remotes with FCC ID BAB237131-032

Most Lexus factory keyless entry systems have used either keyhead transmitters or, more recently, proximity remote controls (for vehicles with push-button start). However, in the 1990’s some Lexus vehicles, such as 1996, 1997 and 1998 LEXUS LX450s used a keyless entry system that used a remote keyfob. One of these keyfobs is a 2-button remote control with FCC ID BAB237131-032, made for Lexus by Fujitsu.

As it happens, this remote transmitted a fixed code. Consequently, the signal can be cloned, which means that there is also a lower cost ReMoto available as a replacement for the original Lexus remote. It appears on the bottom of the linked page.

Both of these remotes are user programmable.
