Directed Electronics manufactures aftermarket remote start, anti-theft and alarm systems under many brands. DEI’s brands include major names such as Automate, Avital, Clifford, Python and Viper. One of their older products is a 2-button, 2-way LCD alarm system remote which has FCC ID EZSDEI477T on the case.

This remote for DEI systems is still available. It is user programmable.

The thing that many consumers find confusing is that there are also Ungo alarm system remotes that have the same EZSDEI477T FCC ID on them. These Ungo system remotes are not compatible with the DEI remote transmitter. Unfortunately, Ungo has left the business and there are no available replacements for the Ungo remote with FCC ID EZSDEI477T.
