Replacement Keyless Entry Remote with FCC ID L2C0005T for 2000-2005 Chevy Cavalier and Pontiac Sunfire

For model years 2000-2005, Chevrolet Cavalier and Pontiac Sunfire cars equipped with a factory keyless entry system used a 4-button keyfob remote with FCC ID L2C0005T on the back of the case.

This remote looks very similar to remotes used on other GM sedans during this period, however, it is not interchangeable with keyfobs that have a different FCC ID number. The keyfob was also used on 2001 Oldsmobile Alero and Chevrolet Malibu sedans, as well as 2000-2002 Saturn S series cars. Programming the keyless entry system to accept a replacement remote requires a computerized scan tool for all of these vehicle applications.
