Carbine (Magnadyne) Remote Transmitter with FCC ID H5OT29

As it happens, a blog reader asked about the relationship between her Carbine remote and the key fob shown in the blog post yesterday. Her Carbine alarm system uses a remote with part number CA-RC6HF and FCC ID H5OT29. Magnadyne, the marketer of Carbine alarm systems, discontinued this remote about two years ago. We have been unable to locate these remotes anywhere since Magnadyne stopped distributing them. However, there is a replacement part, and it just happens to be the newer Carbine alarm remote with FCC ID ELVMTHD shown in yesterday’s blog. Here is a link to that post.
