For seven model years, from 1996 through 2002, Chevrolet Camaro cars used the same keyless entry system that employed remote transmitters with FCC ID ABO1502T. Some Camaros used a 3-button remote with lock, unlock and a rear function button (either a trunk or rear2X icon). Other 1996-2002 Camaros had an anti-theft feature. These systems used a 4-button keyfob that also had a panic button. With seven consecutive years on the same model, these ABO1502T remotes were among the longest-running remotes ever used by GM.

Both of these remote controls are user programmable on Chevrolet Camaro vehicles.
