Did You Know? . . . Nissan 4-Button Remote Replaces Nissan 3-Button Remote

Nissan used 3-button keyless entry remotes with FCC IDs KBRASTU15 and CWTWB1U733 on virtually all Nissan and Infiniti trucks and SUVs during much of the last decade. They also used 4-button remotes with FCC ID KBRASTU15 on many sedans and SUVs. The 4-button remote will replace the 3-button remote. The fourth button simply will have no function on a vehicle that originally used the 3-button version of the keyfob.

See these Nissan remotes at this link.

Also, if the FCC ID on your original remote is KBRASTU15, then it does not matter what rear function is actuated by the trunk or liftgate button on your remote. Any 4-button KBRASTU15 remote will work in place of your original even if the rear button icon is different.

All vehicles applications that use a keyfob remote with FCC ID KBRASTU15 or CWTWB1U733 are user programmable.

Pep Boys stocks a replacement 4-button remote for these Nissan and Infiniti applications. It has part number CPR-9504 and sells for well below the dealer list price, which is over $115.00.
