Replacement Toyota Keyless Entry Remotes with FCC ID HYQ12BAN

Several Toyota keyless entry systems used remotes with FCC ID HYQ12BAN. There were three different button configurations. All three had a panic button on the back of the keyfob. The remote used for trucks and some SUVs was a 3-button remote with lock and unlock buttons on the front. There were two 4-button keyfobs used with sedans and SUVs, one with a trunk icon on the rear function button and one with hatch window rolldown button. All three of these HYQ12BAN remotes have been discontinued, but there are equivalent replacement remotes made by Toyota that look identical, but which have a different FCC ID.

All of the keyless entry systems that used these remotes are user programmable.
