View CartAmong the first factory keyless entry systems installed on Suzuki vehicles sold in North America was a system that used a 2-button remote keyfob with FCC ID MOZD01TB. This remote was not sold for very long. It was soon replaced by a newer version of the keyfob that also has 2 buttons. This remote had FCC ID MOZD02TB and was given a new Suzuki part number (37180-54G22). While the first keyfob had the words “LOCK” and “UNLOCK” embossed in the case under blank buttons, the newer version used icons on the buttons themselves, giving it a more modern look.
These remotes were used during the 2001-2004 model years on selected Suzuki vehicles, such as the Aerio and Vitara. If you have the older style keyfob and want to buy a replacement remote for your car, you can purchase the newer remote – the two remotes are compatible.
