Toyota Keyless Entry Remotes with FCC ID HYQ12BBX

Many Toyota keyless entry systems between 2000 and 2005 used keyfob remotes with FCC ID HYQ12BBX. These keyfobs had several different styles. For instance, Toyota Avalons for model years 2000 through 2004 used a 4-button remote with lock, unlock, trunk and panic functions. (The panic button is located on the back of the keyfob.) The control module of these systems can easily be programmed by a user to accept a new remote.
