That car plus the 2000, 2001 and 2002 Prowler all used the keyless entry system remote used on Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth vans with FCC ID GQ43VT13T or its successor with GQ43VT17T. so if my remotes shows GQ43VT13T, can I use the GQ43VT17T as a replacement?
This situation is vehicle specific. The correct replacement remote transmitter for some vehicles that originally used a GQ43VT13T remote is a GQ43VT17T key fob. But this is not true for all vehicles. The best way to ensure you buy the correct replacement part is to search by the 10-character OE part number on the back of your original remote or to search by the make, model and year of your vehicle.
