Alpine Aftermarket Alarm System Remote Controls

Alpine was a leader in the aftermarket alarm industry during the early years (through the mid-1990s). Not only did they sell a lot of aftermarket alarm systems, they also were the OE manufacturer for several dealer-installed keyless entry systems marketed under various vehicle manufacturers’ brands.

Alpine left the business years ago. Most of the remotes for their systems are discontinued and have not been made for quite a few years, so they are very hard to find. However, most Alpine systems transmitted a fixed code signal. For these systems, a working Alpine remote can be cloned onto a replacement part. This is only possible if the original part still transmits at least a weak signal from any of its buttons.

If you have an Alpine system with a working remote, we suggest you think about making a copy of that remote while it still operates. That is the best way for you to ensure that you will always have at least one working remote for your system.
