Did You Know? . . . GM and Suzuki Keyless Entry Remotes

Did you know that several GM keyless entry remotes were used on other makes of vehicles. The most recent example of this is remote transmitters with GM part numbers 15913420 (RUI part 859-1859) and 15913421 (RUI part 901-1901).

These two keyfobs are the same as Suzuki keyless entry remote parts 37180-78J21 and 37180-78J01, respectively. They were used on 2007-2009 Suzuki XL-7 vehicles. On the Suzuki vehicles, these remotes are user programmable only if the driver information center on the vehicle supports user programming of a new remote.
