Acura has two 4-button keyless entry remotes that both have FCC ID A269ZUA108. They are almost identical, except that one key fob has a trunk icon on the rear function button and the other has the word “OPTION” on that button. The remote with the “OPTION” button was used on a dealer-installed security system. And the logos are different colors. While dealers may have installed this on any Acura vehicle, it was intended for use on 1997-2001 Acura Integra cars. The remote with a trunk button icon stems from a factory-installed system used on 1997-1999 Acura CL sedans.
The two remotes are interchangeable. As it happens, the factory-installed remote for the CL is priced lower by Acura than the replacement key fob for the dealer-installed systems. Go figure, since they are identical except for the cases and the icon on the plastic button bladder. Both parts are user programmable for all applications.
